I will focus on educational system and art. Why?
Somewhere on my shelf at home I have a nice golden paper that proves I am officially teacher of art and art history. (useful as f*****)
For a long time I saw much sense in this occupation. Of course before I actually went to teach in school. I didn’t last long, not even for one year.
People thought I just hate kids. Maybe I did too much jokes on that topic and also maybe I do hate a little, but fuck it, I can negg almost about anything. I am good at that, my nagging amuses ME (haha) – but the same things that I hate, I also love. Sooo… I take it as(s) a good thing, it’s my way of questioning things.
NO, it wasn’t kids.
Too many things just didn’t make sense to me. My role is supposed to be what, to????:
????? give useless amount of information to memorize (in today’s world, not to mention future)?!?!?!?!
????? punish kids that stood out, marked as problematic?!?!?!?
?????train them to become competitive!?!?!?!
?????train them to obey!?!??!?!
?????train them not to question my authority?!?!?!
….
I mean WTF. I was trying all my adult life NOT to be all that, and then I will be part of system that supports all of that without even questioning if this kind curriculum even brings anything to make this society stronger?!?! We need those strong kids that are “hard to control” and give responsible meaning to their actions!! I was happy to see them going against me and questioning my words. I said to myself “I wish I had the balls to do that when I was your age”.
And then after few moths in school:
OK., I QUIT!
Yes! Easy way out, I am not responsible anymore!
But now I want my ticket back. I went back to teaching from time to time, voluntarily.

So let me start here, with writing words – i need to – without that I don’t even make sense to myself! Thoughts have to be put in order and this is best solution!

Economy will change. We will need different jobs, different workers, which means we need different school. Sitting in a row; being good student if you listen, take notes, obey rules,… bla bla bla – this system is no coincidence. It was necessarily needed for system to work the way it does today! They needed crowds of people to be under control, to achieve what today world is!!
Is this bad what we have today???
YES! NO! YES! YES! NO! NO!
I really don’t know and it doesn’t matter. It is what it is!
We are at the point where we recognized the negative aspects that came through all of this years of military training. Me and my schoolmates from university are perfect example. How many of us you think are working in the field we were educated for?!?! I don’t even need one hand to count them!
There are no ultimate answers how to change things. But if more people talk about this, think about this, question the system – we are on our way!
On this point I will start with more concrete thoughts. Something we can work on.
I find following fact one of the saddest things in my life!!!
School system as it is, is made to KILL creativity, intuition, bravery, differenciality and much more! Just think about which kids in your classroom were presented as best, which were the most applauded by teachers!? I was one of them – until… life happened (haha)!
Thing that I strongly believe and is main goal of my lessons –
if we were able to make system that kills all of that qualities mentioned above I am 1000000% sure that we can teach opposite!
I heard to many times “I can’t draw, I don’t have talent like you” – my dear, that is bull shit!
If you didn’t even try drawing for some period of time, there is no way you can tell me you can’t draw!! NO f**** way! Go sell the story to someone else.
It is just something they managed to kill in you! And just think how successful they were in that! We were all able to draw as kids!!!
Creativity,
Intuition,
Bravery,
Art,
Kindness,
Awareness
Honesty,
Goal-setting
Improvising
Independency
………… ——————> those are all things that could be reached, they are teachable!!!! It is impossible to grade them with exams, but then again – ask yourself why this system was created the way it is and where did it brought us. Of course focus on positive and negative aspects! (think about that till next time).
